About SortedAI

SortedAI is Tia — an AI that phones local businesses on your behalf, gets the price and the soonest available time, and books it. A dentist, a mechanic, a physio, a table for four on Friday — tell her what you need and she sorts it. No phone tag, no hold music, no callbacks that never come.

Our story

SortedAI started out of one too many Friday afternoons lost to phone tag — ringing around for a plumber, getting voicemail, waiting on a callback that never came. It turns out most calls to small local businesses go unanswered, so you end up playing detective just to spend your own money. Same hassle whether you're after a dentist, a mechanic, or a table for four.

For years, having someone make your calls for you was a luxury — you needed a personal assistant. That changed. AI can now hold a normal phone conversation, and in 2026 letting an assistant do the ringing around has gone from novelty to something people reach for every week. There are plenty of good businesses around here; the pain was always the finding and the dialling. So we built Tia to do exactly that bit — and nothing more without your say-so.

We're built and based in Tauranga, starting on home turf with plans to sort the rest of Aotearoa in good time. We run under New Zealand law — the Privacy Act 2020 and the Consumer Guarantees Act — so your details stay secure and we never sell your data to anyone. And because trust is the whole game with something like this, Tia always tells a business she's an AI, and never books a thing until you've given the nod. Simple as.
